This is a very good quality Antique English George III circa 1790s Mahogany Pembroke Table / Drop Side Table.
The table is made from quality prestigious imported Central American Mahogany of excellent colour and figuring. the table is further embellished with line inlays and perimeter cross banding which only the better examples had.
There is a frieze drawer at one end and a faux drawer at the other both with original oval Brass drawer pull handles. The table is supported on elegant square tapered legs which terminate in original all brass ‘barrel’ castor assemblies.
Condition: Excellent original.
