This is a very fine example of a superior quality genuine antique later 1700s George III period oval drop side Pembroke Table which is very versatile and can be used as a Side Table or any sort of Occasional Table with the leaves either up or down. The Frieze section follows the shape of the top and has a full width drawer st one end and a faux drawer at the other end. The table is crafted from beautifully figured imported Central American Mahogany which nis now a lovely ‘honey’ colour. The top has an outer cross banded border and the drawers and frieze have line inlays. They also have their original circular Brass draw pull ring handles. The elegent legs are squared and tapered and terminate in their original all brass ‘barrel’ castor assemblies.
Condition: Excellent - having been professionally and sympathetically refurbished.
