About this piece
This solid elmwood sideboard from Shangdong province is a genuine piece of early 20th-century Chinese craftsmanship. Four matching doors hide plenty of storage space, and the warm honey-coloured wood with its rich grain patterns shows real age and character. Hand-polished to bring out the natural beauty, it's the kind of piece that gets better looking the longer you live with it.
