Sourced from Shandong, this antique Chinese console is around 150 years old. It has a long, thick elm plank top on splayed square legs braced with stretchers, and has been waxed to protect the timber.
Knots, splits and a soft worn texture all add to its character. Use it as a hall table, a sofa table or a serving table in the dining room. It suits both rustic and modern homes.
