Dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1880–1915), this piece showcases the breathtaking, high-relief hand-cutting that defined American glasswork at its absolute peak.
Crafted on a water-clear, heavy lead crystal blank, the bowl features a deeply cut geometric design. Large, swirling pinwheels radiate light from the centre, beautifully framed by alternating panels of finely crosshatched hobstars, delicate fans, and step-cuts. The dramatic, deeply scalloped sawtooth rim gives this elegant round dish a striking silhouette.
