Amazing Antique 18th Century Dutch oak chest/trunk with ornate iron bound strap work and corners. There is a date on the ironwork and can make out 17?6, so it's anywhere from 1706 to 1796.
Great patina and wear with bits missing from the ironwork as you would expect from something that probably travelled the high seas many times. If only this chest could talk!
