A beautiful and highly characterful 19th-century French faux-bamboo bed, crafted from Baltic pine and featuring wonderfully detailed turned and faux-bamboo decoration throughout.
A real statement piece with gorgeous warmth and patina. The bed features turned bamboo-style rails, carved detailing, substantial turned corner posts and finials, with beautifully shaped head and foot ends.
The natural wear, marks and variation in the timber are part of its appeal and are consistent with its age and history. It has developed a lovely aged patina rather than being over-restored, retaining the character you want from an authentic antique.
