About this piece
Large-format concrete-base painting by Franko, titled “Crack that Whip!”. The work presents a bold depiction of a cowgirl holding a gun, channelling Western themes through a modern lens. The figure is rendered with Franko’s signature edgy, layered brushwork, while the concrete base introduces a tactile, industrial quality that underscores the subject’s rugged presence.
Franko’s paintings are commissioned and produced as one-offs.
Dimensions: 160 cm W x 4 cm D x 100 cm H
Condition: Excellent overall, with minor loss of concrete at the bottom left corner.
