About this piece
Complete 1970s bar setting by Wallace Furniture comprising a demi‑lune bar and matching pair of barstools in polished chrome with original black vinyl upholstery.
The bar presents the late‑1970s nightclub vernacular with sweeping curves, mirrored chrome surfaces and generous proportions. A padded wraparound top rail and waterfall‑profile vinyl panels soften the linear chrome frame, while the floating circular forms of the stools visually tie the suite together. The rear of the bar is fitted with sliding glass doors opening to generous internal storage, with timber‑lined shelving for glassware and bottles.
The matching stools feature circular chrome bases and footrests with generously padded black vinyl seats. A complete set of this model is increasingly difficult to source, particularly in clean and original condition.
Condition:
- Very good vintage condition overall with light age‑appropriate wear
- Chrome presents well with minor signs of use
- Original vinyl upholstery remains in excellent condition
Dimensions:
- 1.29 wide x 70 deep x 1.05 high
- Barstools: Standard counter/bar height proportions
Styling contexts:
- 1970s interiors
- Postmodern spaces
- Hollywood Regency references
- Residential entertaining areas
- Designer apartments and statement commercial fit‑outs
