Vintage mid century timber armchair with incredible original burnt orange and gold textured ribbed upholstery.
Lightly restored with an emphasis on preserving its original character. The frame has been carefully sanded back to remove the flaking lacquer, then waxed to bring out the beautiful natural wood grain, colour and patina.
The original upholstery is in good condition for its age. A small area of wear at the very top has been lovingly patch mended using the original fabric to preserve it. The repair is very subtle and barely noticeable. leaving the upholstery looking beautiful and ready for another lifetime of use.
A stunning and comfortable statement piece. Sturdy and functional, minor signs of age and wear that just add to its vintage character, while having been lovingly refreshed and preserved.
