A vintage Japanese bottle vase, thrown in stoneware with a rounded body and a flared neck, marked on the base by its maker.
Blue and olive green move across the glaze and craze finely over the shoulder. Two areas are left pale in resist, a blossom shape low on one side and a broad oval tucked under the neck. The lip flares flat with a line of green along its edge, and the base is bare sandy clay marked with throwing rings.
