Description: A striking vintage wall mirror with a generous bevelled mirror plate and an ornate gilt-and-black frame. The contrasting finishes give the piece a sophisticated appearance, with the gold detailing beautifully defined against the deep black border.
The frame features decorative corner embellishments with scrolling foliate motifs, together with raised gilt borders, beaded detailing and classical-style ornamentation. A finer gilt inner frame surrounds the mirror plate, drawing attention to the bevelled glass edge and adding further depth to the design.
Its generous rectangular proportions make this an excellent statement mirror for an entrance hall, living room, bedroom or above a console or sideboard. The combination of black and antique gold allows it to work particularly well in both traditional and more contemporary interiors.
