About this piece
Description: A striking vintage Australian cedar hall or console table featuring rich timber tones and extensive carved detailing. The rectangular top is finished with a decorative carved edge and a raised, shaped back, giving the piece an attractive profile when positioned against a wall.
Two drawers provide useful storage and are fitted with decorative metal handles. The shaped apron features carved floral and scroll motifs, continuing down the graceful cabriole legs to carved feet. A shaped lower platform connects the legs, adding both visual balance and useful display space.
With its narrow proportions and decorative cedar finish, this is an appealing piece for an entrance hall, living room or other area where a substantial piece of furniture is wanted without the depth of a larger table.
