Vintage 1970's brown crackle glass pottery bowl

"HAND-THROWN" brown crackle glass 6" pottery bowl. Small sized. Very heavy for size, base appears to be thick.

Perhaps could be used as an ashtray or trinket catch-all bowl. Dark browns glazing over natural clay. Dark brown and orange fused crackle glass on inner bowl. White drip glazing on rim. Hand-thrown, rustic, mid-century modern style.

Signed. Artist's signature on base reads as follows: "V.V.". Made in Australia in 1970's-90's. Sourced within The Mornington Peninsula. 

Excellent Vintage Condition. No chips or cracks, pitting to glass crackle but appears to be from manufacturing.
