A magnificent, statement-making masterpiece of Mid-Century Japanese Art Glass.
Crafted in Osaka, Japan during the 1960s–1970s by the celebrated Sanyu Glassworks, this monumental vase comes from their iconic Narumi 'Fantasy' range.
What sets this piece apart is its incredible scale, sculptural drama, and mesmerizing colorway. Hand-blown with heavy crystal glass, it features organic molten "lava" protrusions and deep spiky ribs that catch the light from every angle. Encased within the clear glass is a vibrant "Rainbow" blend—swirling hues of deep magenta pink, ocean blue, olive yellow, and emerald green.
Best of all, this vase still retains its original gold foil Sanyu manufacturer sticker near the rim, making it a highly desirable, investment-grade piece for collectors of Japanese MCM glass and Murano-style art.
