This mid century shallow oven cooking or serving dish was designed by Marianne Westman for Rörstrand, Sweden. She worked at Rörstrand during the 1950s and 1960s so likely to date from that era. The name of the design is Granada - it's a series of hand painted fruits with black outlines, predominantly yellow. 


It is a simple shallow earthenware/ceramic rectangular dish with yellow handles featuring stylised Scandinavian style graphics all round. It shows fruit images created with black outlines with hand painted yellow, blue, green and brown infill. The base colour glaze is white. The handles are yellow.


The dish is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks.


It is stamped to base with the Rorstrand logo. It's a Size 9 dish and measures 35 cm long x 20cm wide x 4.5cm tall.
