Eames Aluminium Group Soft Pad Executive Chair, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1968. This chair is stamped Jan 1998 and was purchased new by the present owner from Innerspace in Brisbane.
The design features black leather upholstery and has a frame of polished aluminium. The seat and back have plush cushions and this model features a manual lift. The chair sits on a five star base on castors that all roll smoothly.
The leather is soft and clean but there is some wear to the leather seat edges and top of the back rest. The aluminium frame shows wear on arm rests and some minor scratches. Please refer to photos
