This set of cups and saucers is in the gorgeous retro design of Mediterrania which was produced by Mikasa in the 1960’s. They have a practical indent to the saucer that the cups sit in to prevent them from slipping off.
The cups are in a beautiful blue colour, and the saucers feature a lovely angular design in green and blue around the outside.
The cups are marked as Mikasa Mediterrania Forget Me Not Blue 4995 Japan.
The saucers are marked as Mikasa Mediterrania Manila 4059 Japan.
The cups are 8.5cm in diameter and 6.5cm tall, and the saucers are 16.5cm in diameter.
The set is in excellent condition for its age. No chips or cracks in the cups and saucers.
