About this piece
This G Plan Fresco highboard, produced in the 1960s, is a good example of British mid-century design. Made from teak, it has a warm, even tone and a clean, linear grain that gives the piece a subtle sense of depth and texture.
The layout balances enclosed storage with open space, creating a practical and well-proportioned design. Simple lines and restrained detailing allow the quality of the timber to take centre stage, reflecting G Plan’s focus on functional, well-made furniture.
In good vintage condition with minor signs of wear including superficial scratches from use. This is a solid and steady piece with all doors and drawers operating smoothly.
