MID CENTURY, ELLIS CERAMICS LAMPS - AUSTRALIAN MADE - LARGE - PAIR AVAILABLE.

Vintage Ellis lamps, produced by the Melbourne based pottery, Ellis Ceramics. Founded in 1953, by Dagmar & Miloslav Kratochvil, who were assisted migrants from Czechoslovakia in 1951.
These special lamps date late 60s / early 70s, are HUGE and well proportioned. Splendid curves and a body that stands tall. A coppery colour frame with an etched middle band. The iconic ceramic base alone is over 500mmH with no damage, scratches or fractures.
The beautiful original lamp shades are in great condition also being 550mmH, making the statement of just over 1mtr in height.
A true statement piece that would suit any mid century or modern home.
