One of only 12 lithographic posters hand-signed in Australia by Lewis Morley in support of his “Myself and Eye” Exhibition that was held at The National Portrait Gallery, Canberra from Friday 14 March - Sunday 29 June 2003.

The image incorporates the title of his book - “I to Eye” that was published alongside the exhibition. Worldwide 500 copies of this hand-signed poster were distributed with very few remaining and some commanding extremely high prices.
After the Australian show, any of the remaining 12 posters allotted to it were transferred to the adjacent National Gallery of Australia, from where these examples originated.
Printed Duotone on 200gsm matt varnished art paper in black, grey and silver metallic. Size: 60cm (W) x 80cm (D). The signature, was undertaken using what looks like a white paint pen.
A NOTE REGARDING CONDITION: I have listed these posters as 'new' as they have never been used and have remained in storage at The National Gallery of Australia since the early 2000s. However, very minor marks and tiny creases may be apparent along the edges of these posters and the worst of these have been captured in my photos. These have been caused by handling over the years and will not be apparent once the posters are framed. There are no tears anywhere and no creases within the body of the image. I mention this purely in the interest of being fully transparent.
