A beautiful Scandinavian art glass vase attributed to renowned Swedish designer Knut Bergqvist for Orrefors, featuring the celebrated Ariel technique developed in 1936.

About the Designer
Knut Bergqvist (1892-1975) was one of Sweden's most important glass artists. While working at Orrefors he developed the revolutionary Ariel technique in 1936, trapping controlled air inclusions between layers of glass to create striking visual depth. Ariel glass remains among the most celebrated achievements of Swedish art glass production.
