Matched pair of mid-century Italian Sleepy Hollow armchairs, believed to date from the 1950s. Deeply sculpted silhouettes are defined by dramatically angled high backs, generously curved arms and button-tufted detailing. Elegant splayed wooden legs and a generous seat depth reinforce the post-war Italian character.
Newly reupholstered in a warm oatmeal Italian weave — a nubby, tactile fabric with quiet depth of colour — with the exterior arms and backs finished in its ticking-stripe sibling, a fine ivory-and-sand stripe that introduces a tailored contrast. Each chair includes a matching bolster cushion.
