About this piece
The Lykta IKEA table lamp in dark red brings warmth and depth to any space, its deep tone glowing softly through the curved glass shade. A cherished piece from IKEA’s 1990s collection, it reflects the era’s playful yet refined approach to colour and form. Both striking and timeless, this lamp is a perfect accent for interiors that blend vintage character with modern style.
Originally designed as part of IKEA’s vision to make beautiful, functional design accessible, the Lykta remains a cult favourite among collectors and design enthusiasts. Its mushroom-shaped silhouette and diffused light create a cosy, nostalgic ambience that feels effortlessly elegant. Compact and versatile, it’s ideal for bedside tables, desks, or any nook in need of a touch of retro warmth.
