Details
Tanker desks and their corresponding tanker chairs came into popularity during the 1940s and into the 70s.
In 1938 Gio Ponti designed a swivel chair for the US company Good Form. The chair presented here was built by Globe-Wernicke of Ohio during the 1940s or 50s and borrowed heavily from the Gio Ponti design.
The chair has a sprung back that can be adjusted for comfort and posture correction. The upholstery is original and in great condition for its age.
