This rare and stunning work of Italian Mid-Century Modern art pottery is by Fratelli Fanciullacci (1862-1988) and was designed and in production between the 1950s to 1960s, during the Italian ceramics boom.
This bowl features gorgeous textured glaze with a pale blue spiral pattern to the centre, brown solid lines extending from the centre to the edge of the bowl, and a vine pattern alternating between these lines.
Marked “Italy” Z323 underneath.
This bowl has a couple of small spots of glaze removed as displayed in the pictures.
