An Oak Horse Tack cupboard dating from the early 18th Century, with carved date "1734" & initials, "CH" to the base section. Two part construction, the top with shaped cornice over panelled doors opening to a full length or sunken interior fitted with a row of wooden hanging pegs. The lower half is also panelled and the cupboard stands extended stile ends . A versatile cupboard- perfect for use as a clothes press, or other storage when shelved.

An antique Harness cupboard, also known as a Livery cupboard, was used widely in the 17th & 18th century Country house for holding and storing horse and harness equipment.

Hand-hewn from the dense old growth oak of the moorlands, Livery cupboards of this style normally hale from North Yorkshire. The Aged oak displaying an attractive mid amber colour.
