About this piece
A delightful large signed pastel depicting Pierrot seated between two elegantly dressed young women in a richly decorated interior.
The central figure of Pierrot, dressed in his traditional white costume, is surrounded by soft tones of gold, teal, cream and blush. The theatrical subject, expressive figures and elegant interior create a charming and atmospheric composition.
Presented behind glass in a substantial ornate gilt frame decorated with shell, foliate and scrolling details. A wonderful statement artwork for a living room, entrance hall, dining room or period-inspired interior.
