Filigree pottery bowl by Clive Simmonds, dated 1980. Presented in an earthy tone and signed on the base with an incised "CS" and date.
Dimensions: 9 cm H; 27 cm diameter (rim); 14 cm diameter (base).
Condition: Excellent used condition with no damage or repairs.
Maker: Clive Simmonds (-1997) was an English potter who emigrated to Australia in 1978. He settled near Dot and Eddie Andrews’ Paris Creek Craft Workshops, where he leased a workshop. He left pottery in the early to mid-1980s and later managed Noon's winery at McLaren Vale. Information supplied by the maker’s son.
