Unlike a traditional bow-rocker, this style sits on a fixed platform base with an internal coil spring mechanism, giving a smooth, gentle rocking action without the chair itself moving across the floor, practical and furniture-friendly. Turned spindle arms and legs throughout add lovely period detailing.
The chair retains a floral upholstered back cushion, headrest bolster, and seat cushion, all in reasonable used condition with expected fading and light wear consistent with age, a great candidate for a re-cover in a fabric of your choice if desired, or usable as-is.
