Antique Japanese Satsuma bottle vase Meiji garlic neck C1800's. Classic bottle shaped with tapered neck and unusual garlic shape. Ceramic stoneware. Multicoloured with gold accents. Depicting male figures to the body. Crackle glazed. Mark on the base reads as follows: "四" (four). Metal band and lugs are later editions. Made in Japan in C1800's. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.
Good Antique Condition, surface wear and marks, crazing, hairlines and drilled hole to base.
