Antique Italian carved Alabaster Mood Lamp with Cherubs.

Made in Italy around the 1900s this is a most charming example of a carved Alabaster mood light / Lamp. The shade is in the form of a sphere and separater where there is a decorative carved ‘string of pearls. The lower section of the shade is cradled by a nest of foliate stylised leaves. The short column has an inverted carved embellishment and upper and lower ring turnings. The base section is delightful with both a male cherub and a female cherub wrapping the base of the column in fabric while standing on a rocky platform. The whole is standing on a well profiled base with cantered corners.

Condition: Excellent commensurate with age and use.
