This is an excellent and superior quality example of a high end 19th century 1850s genuine antique English early to mid Victorian period Walnut Music Canterbury of ‘box’ form. The Canterbury has four perimeter panels and two inner dividers which are all feature matched and intrically saw pierce carved . The base platform has a full width recess panelled drawer with a pair of very well turned drawer pull knobs plus the four top corners have superb turned and carved reeded finials above the corner fluted column and are complimented by the reeded bulbous turnings on the lower corner positioned turned legs and are complete with the original all brass bucket castor assemblies.
