These are a very good set of six high quality 19th century Victorian period solid Rosewood ‘show timber’ framed Dining Chairs. The chairs have a vertical timber carved embellished framed upholstered squab in the back for additional comfort. the seat is fully sprung and has rolled edges for better support. the seat rails are bowed at the front and curved on the side rails. The front legs are of cabriole form with French scrolled toes. In fact the whole chair has a strong Louis XV influence.
Condition: Excellent for Age. structurally sound and still with their original French Polish finish.
