A fine quality Antique, English, mid, Victorian, circa 1850, set of six Mahogany Dining Chairs. The ‘high end’ show timber frames are rather elegant and are made from the finest, prestigious, imported, Central American Mahogany. Both the top rail and the waist rail are both embellished with quality carved detailing in the French Louis XV manner. The seat rails are curved on the sides and are of serpentine shape on the front rail. The front legs are turned and elegantly shaped and tapered while the rear legs are of sabre form.
Condition: These chairs have been superbly professionally restored at considerable expense by the previous owner and are now all in lovely condition.
