ADRIANO PIAZZESI ‘Okay’ Armchairs, Italian, c.1970 (Pair)
A pair of sculptural Space Age lounge chairs in black leather on chrome frames.
H 85 × W 97 × D 96 cm / Seat H 42 cm
Designed by Adriano Piazzesi in Italy around 1970, the ‘Okay’ armchair sets a deep, enveloping leather seat on a polished chrome frame. The silhouette is low and generous, with rounded forms that soften the line of the metal. They’re comfortable lounge chairs with real presence, equally at home as a pair in a living room or as a statement in a study or office.
