Each with a fluted knopped nozzle above a spirally-fluted tapering columnar stem terminating to an animal foot, raised on a stepped circular base with foliate and beaded border, now converted to electric lamps with pleated ivory silk shades
The tapering octagonal-to-round stem form and beaded border decoration follow candlestick patterns first popularized by makers such as John Carter and William Cafe in the 1770s, continuing in production through the Victorian and Edwardian periods.
