This wonderful brass carriage clock was crafted in France c.1880.
Featuring a classic four-sided glazed case with a white enamel dial, Roman numerals and elegant blued steel hands. The polished brass case is complemented by a shaped carrying handle, decorative finials and turned feet, while the exposed mechanical movement can be admired through the glazed sides.
Accompanied by its original fitted leather travel case, this handsome timepiece is a fine example of 19th-century French horological craftsmanship. Perfect given as a gift for a lady or gentleman.
