About this piece
Italy
1970s
A refined architectural floor lamp designed by Willy Rizzo for Lumica, Italy circa 1970s.
The sculptural base is composed of alternating polished chrome and brass columns rising from a geometric plinth, creating a strong vertical presence. The contrast between the two metals produces a dynamic interplay of light and reflection, a hallmark of Rizzo's glamorous yet modernist design language.
Both functional and sculptural, the lamp embodies the bold materiality and architectural sensibility that defined Rizzo's interiors and furniture of the period.
A statement lighting piece that anchors a room while maintaining a refined, elegant presence.
