Large lead‑free crystal pitcher by the Czech maker Moser Glassworks in the Splendid pattern, first introduced by Leo Moser in 1911.
The design features an ornate 24‑karat gilt rim above an intricately cut crystal body. The Splendid pattern has been produced in a variety of shapes and sizes and is associated with formal dining; notably, the Czechoslovak president gifted the late Queen Elizabeth II a selection of Splendid crystal for her wedding in 1947.
Based on the font style of the acid‑etched signature and the underside, this example was manufactured post 1992 and is contemporary in age.
Condition: Near immaculate, with no chips or cracks. Minor wear to the underside consistent with vintage and antique glass.
Marked: ‘Moser’ acid‑etched to the underside.
Dimensions: 23 cm H x 13 cm diameter (base).
