• bazaa_backup_original_description: This large crystal centrepiece was manufactured by the famed Czech glassmaker, Moser. The centrepiece which is made from lead free crystal is in the 'Splendid' pattern which was first introduced by Leo Moser in 1911. The pattern features an ornate 24 karat gilt rim which sits atop of a very intricate cut crystal body and has been made in a variety of shapes and sizes throughout its history. The Splendid pattern has been a staple among some of the world's finest dining rooms for decades with the Czechoslovak president gifting the late Queen Elizabeth II a selection of Splendid crystal for her wedding in 1947. This particular centrepiece retains its original retailing label and has an acid etched signature to the underside which have helped us date its manufacture to post 1992, when Czechoslovakia became the Czech Republic. In immaculate condition, the centrepiece has very few signs of wear, with no chips or cracks to the crystal, and even minimal wear to the underside.
