Early 1800s English Georgian Pembroke drop-side table in dense, well-figured Cuban mahogany. Of traditional Pembroke form, the leaves are on the long sides; each drop-side is supported by twin hinged support brackets. The top has rounded corners and a triple-reeded edge moulding.
The frieze includes a flush-fitting drawer at one end with its original lock and keyhole escutcheon, and a key. The drawer front is edged with an ebony perimeter line inlay, echoed by small rectangular ebony-inlaid panels at the top of each leg. The opposite end presents a matching faux drawer front with the same ebony line inlay.
Raised on four turned and tapered legs with multiple ring turnings.
Condition: Excellent, commensurate with age and light use. Photographed as received in a dusty state; expected to respond well to cleaning and wax polishing, enhancing the patina.

- Leaves raised: 118 cm W
