Full-height English corner cabinet in country oak from the early George III period. The solid oak exterior shows pronounced grain and colour, with pine back boards and shelving providing a practical interior.
The cornice is detailed with a reeded convex moulding. The upper section has a pair of oak doors, each with four recessed panels and fine reeded perimeter mouldings. The lower section features a pair of doors, each with a single recessed panel framed by a profiled perimeter moulding. Inside, the top cabinet provides three shelves, with a single shelf to the lower cabinet. The whole stands on a shallow plinth base.
