Model 9049 square breakfast table in beechwood, designed by Vienna Secession designer Josef Hoffmann for the Purkersdorf Sanatorium, Austria, circa 1903. Signed and labelled for manufacture by J.&J. Kohn, Vienna.
It is believed these tables were originally part of the sanatorium’s dining room. This example retains evidence of brackets that would have allowed multiple tables to be linked to form a long central table.

Condition:
- Structurally stable
- Signs of age-related warping, most visible in the legs
- Minor nicks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use
- Apparent water damage to the bottoms of the legs
