The cylindrical form is finished in a burnt-orange glaze and features a distinctive applied relief medallion from the range, with a carved textural band around the rim. Londi’s work here is measured and architectural in character—sculptural in presence yet restrained in detail—so the piece reads as an object, not only a vessel.
Produced during Bitossi’s 1960s–early 1970s period, the Sevilla line reflects the era’s shift toward expressive surfaces and tactile Italian modernism. The glaze shows notable tonal variation, moving from deep terracotta to ember depending on the light, especially pronounced in afternoon sun.
