About this piece
A classic American-style platform rocker with a finely turned frame and gentle spring action.
The frame is turned throughout, with ring-turned detailing to the uprights and arm rails, and turned finials to the back posts. Upholstered back panel finished with brass nail-head trim, with a loose head bolster and a deep loose box seat cushion. The chair rocks on its own platform base with shaped splayed feet, no wear to your floors.
Solid and sound, with a comfortable rocking action. Honest wear to the arm rails and finish consistent with age and use.
