  This is a lovely and most decorative fine quality example of a petite genuine 19th century antique French three tier Etagere / What Not Stand / Display Stand of small size and of serpentine form. Each tier is finished with a complex and most decorative Parquetry surface. Each tier comprises of a multiple timber parquetry finish of Rosewood and Walnut among other sample timbers and feature central shaped panels with attractive floral and foliate inlays.

  The top tier has a shaped and pierced brass gallery on three sides and cdecorative cast brass finials above each of the supports. The lower shelves have an applied pressed brass vertical edge molding. The shelves are separated and supported by elegantly turned corner positioned columns as are the lower tall slender turned legs which have a nice quality detail of carved and scrolled feet

  Condition: Very good as is with the original finish.
