About this piece

An antique silver plated coffee pot by Imperial, a Phoenix product - and properly marked: A1 quality, which is the heaviest grade of silver deposit, and HARD SOLDERED, meaning the handle and spout joints were made with a high-melting alloy rather than soft solder. That is what stops handles loosening on a pot that actually gets used with boiling water. The traditional shape at 20cm tall with a generous 13cm body. CONDITION: vintage pre-owned with patina, tarnishing and age-related wear consistent with silver plate. Please refer to photos as they form part of the description.
