About this piece
Decorative Italian carved wall shelf with beautifully pierced acanthus scrollwork and an aged gilt finish. Retaining its original “Made in Italy” label to the reverse, this piece was crafted in the traditional Florentine style and offers plenty of old-world charm. Perfect for displaying a small bust, vase, candleholder or treasured collectable, with the warm gilded finish and intricate carving lending character to both traditional and eclectic interiors. Gentle wear to the gilt finish, consistent with age and use.
