Melvin John (Mel) Cole, Sgraffito and Oxide-Stained Lidded Pot

This is a lovely lidded sgraffito and oxide pot by Mel Cole(Melvyn John Cole). The lidded pot is very functional and could be used in the kitchen, bedroom or bathroom. A great idea as a gift for Mum, for a Birthday, a Christmas gift or a Thank you gift. This lidded pot is in excellent used condition with no damage or repairs. It measures 16 cm high with lid, 12 cm without the lid, 14 cm across the widest point and 10 cm in diameter at the base. Great care is taken when packaging and shipping all fragile items. Recycled packaging is used wherever possible. Nothing much seems to be known about this potter, though there is still quite an extensive output of work by him. There is a reference on him in regard to ceramics.
